STATE CUP FINALS PROCEDURES

All teams checking in on State Cup Finals weekend must follow the following procedures.

1. Check in at the State Cup headquarters tent (located next to the barn at the Tree Farm) a minimum of one hour before your first scheduled match.
2. Present the following: 
   1. Official VSA State Roster
   2. Official BLUE Roster, UNSIGNED Blue Rosters will be printed by the VSA office and will be at the check in tent.
   3. Player Passes
   4. Medical Release Forms for all players    
   5. Team Rooming List (dorms)       
   6. Team Housing Reservation Form (below)

Winners and runners up of the Vermont State Cup tournament will receive Tournament t-shirts.  ALL teams are required to report to the Headquarters tent immediately following their final match for their award ceremony with Vermont Soccer Association president, Ed DeMulder.

The Vermont State Cup is Vermont’s premier youth soccer event.  The 2010 Champions in U12 thru U19 divisions will go on to represent Vermont at the Regional Championships in Barboursville, West Virginia. Preliminary, quarter-final, and some semi-final matches will be scheduled May 21, 22, and 23.  The final’s weekend will be June 5, 6. The state’s qualifying league for the tournament is D-1 of the VSL (Vermont Soccer League).  Other qualifying leagues are the Region 1 League.  State rosters and player passes will be inspected at all matches.  For the final weekend only, teams will need to present all Regionals paperwork which will be posted on VSA website.  Tournament seeds will be drawn in February and the brackets will be announced at the VSA Annual General Meeting on March 20 at the Soccer Center.
