The Mission of the Vermont Soccer Association: The mission of the VSA is to provide a governing body at the state level to function as an administrator of the policies and procedures set forth by the National and International organizations. Our philosophies mirror those of these organizations in supporting the concept of Fair Play, while providing a safe and organized playing environment for our youth soccer players.
US Youth Soccer is the largest youth sports organization in the country and the largest member of the USSF, the governing body of soccer in the U.S. US Youth Soccer registers more than 3.2 million players annually, ages 5-19, and manages over 900,000 administrators, coaches, and volunteers in 55 member state associations. US Youth Soccer programs provide a fun, safe, and healthy environment for players at every level of the game.
As the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States, U.S. Soccer has played an integral part in charting the course for the sport in the USA for more than 100 years. In that time, the Federation’s mission statement has been clear and simple: to make soccer, in all its forms, a preeminent sport in the United States and to continue the development of soccer at all recreational and competitive levels.
