2015 U12 ODP Fall Development Program
Vermont Soccer Association is announcing the third year of its Fall U12 ODP Training Academy. The Academy is a developmental training program for players born in 2003 & 2004. These players will develop in the game in an environment alongside the most promising players in the state. The development of players is the only concern and the only focus of the program, which will be directed by ODP Coach Craig Stone. The Academy will be a fun, intense and competitive program, and the competition will be used to encourage growth and excellence.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
Player pools will be selected at our Academy Identification Day Saturday, August 29, 2015. Those players identified will receive a written request to continue in the program for its duration.
There is no fee for the Identification Day, but players must register by clicking here.
If selected, the fee for the Fall Academy is $200.
Players should bring a size #4 soccer ball and water.

Essex Tree Farm Facility - Boys & Girls 9am - 11 am on the following Saturdays:
September 12th, 19th, 26th -- October 10th , 17th & 24th.
Saturday, October 3rd: "Middlebury Day". Schedule TBA.

Spring 2016 ODP U12 Development Program
The Vermont ODP U12 Select Development Program is dedicated entirely to individual player development. The coaching philosophy is player-centered with clear, concise, and honest feedback. ODP provides an efficient developmental training environment where players have the opportunity to excel. The primary focus is to provide training that will improve each players technical ability and understanding of small group tactics. Goalkeepers will receive field skill training, team training, and limited individual training.
Players born in 2004 and 2005 with a strong soccer background looking for a unique training environment to supplement or enhance their club team experience.
(1) Technique, (2) Tactics, (3) Fitness and Athletic Ability, and (4) Attitude
Trainings will begin in April and finish in June. All players will participate in a one day U12 Festival in June, 2016 in Lancaster, MA and in a three day U12 Region I ODP Camp in June or July 2016.
$600 (includes 6 training sessions, professional coaching, field rental, U12 Festival fees, and Region I U12 Camp fees). Players will need to purchase their uniform kit separately.
Tryouts are held over the course of two Sundays in November for both the U12 Boys & the U12 Girls.

Players born in 2004 and 2005 can register online here. The registration fee is $35 payable to Vermont Soccer Association (VSA). NO CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED FOR ONSITE PAYMENT. The online registratin form will be taken offline at noon each Thursday before a tryout and will be reactivated the following Monday morning. This will ensure that we have all electronic information with us at the fields. If you are paying by check please include the player's name and year of birth on the check.

Bring a size #4 soccer ball and water. Please download the forms below and bring these completed forms to tryouts.
*Girls only: PLEASE NOTE that you will need to provide immunization dates. DO NOT WRITE “up to date” or leave blank. You must provide at least a month and year of the dates requested.
