The Vermont State Cup is Vermont’s premier youth soccer event. The 2013 Champions in U12 thru U19 divisions will go on to represent Vermont at the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships in Kingston, Rhode Island on June 27-July 2.
Preliminary, quarter-final, and some semi-final matches will be scheduled May 17 (if necessary), and 19. The final matches will be held on June 2.
To qualify for this tournament, teams must participate in a qualifying league recognized by Vermont Soccer Association. Sanctioned leagues for the Vermont State Cup are D-1 of the VSL (Vermont Soccer League) and Region 1 Premier or Northeast League.
State rosters, player passes, and medical release forms will be inspected at all matches. For the final weekend only, teams will need to present all Region 1 Championship paperwork which will be posted on VSA website.
Tournament seeds will be drawn in February and the brackets will be announced at the VSA Annual General Meeting on March 16.
